About
Evi O. Studio is a Sydney based design office specialising in print and digital publishing, brand identity and creative collaborations.
Working alongside publishers, editors, photographers, stylists, web developers and writers, we’ve got wide-ranging experience completing projects of different sizes and types. Our experience, curiosity and commitment to our clients results in unique and exciting creative and commercial outcomes.
Things we do, things we’ve done: Books, websites, brand identity and collateral, poster design, homeware design collaborations, bottle labels, café menus, colouring walls, typeface creation, creating photography sets, shooting supermarket aisles and making good mixtapes.
Things we want to do: Create giant books and art, design costumes for a music video, invent a new snack, start a vegetable garden, make big abstract sculptures, curate a vending machine, make furniture, and fill the studio with even more plants.
Evi O. Studio is led by Evi O – a designer with over 10 years industry experience. Evi established a reputation for her strong design aesthetic and collaborative spirit during a decade working as a book designer at Penguin Books. Her work has won a number of publishing and design awards, notably the prestigious Young Designer of the Year and Book of the Year, awarded by the Australian Book Design Association (ABDA). She is often asked to speak at writer’s festivals, conferences and universities.
In addition to her prolific design output, Evi is also a well-known artist, exhibiting her abstract paintings regularly in Sydney and Melbourne.
In her spare time, she can often be found roaming the streets of Marrickville with her whippet Henri.
